Choice factory-made butter ex Kaikoura realised from 100s to lU4$ per cwt; dnirymade 925. The wool sales are slightly in buyers' favor, American competition is weaker. After attempting for four years to obtain a meeting, the Ausfcialian committee^ the London Chamber of Commerce have amicably discussed with eight leading Australian shipowner* the matters in i dispute regarding colonial bills of lading. ■ The meeting was adjourned to March Ist to enable the shipowners to consider the i proposals of the committee.
