ROAD BOARDS.

MOUNT HUIT. The monthly meeting of the Mount Hutt Road Board was held on February 9. Present—Messrs Cameron, Drumraond, Brown and Aynsley. Extension of time was given to the Poard's contractors, onaccount of harvest. It was decided to call for tenders for shingling about half a mile of the West Coast Road, and of Barker s Road. Mr E. Chapman wrote asking for an exchange of roads and also re gorse. —It was decided that the exchange should be made on Mr Chapman agreeing to the usual terms. The Sydenham Borough Council forwarded a claim for 1800 yards of shingle at 4d per yard.—The Board decided that the Council be informed that tho Board only owes for 700 yards, and the price paid in the district.is one penny per cubic yard. Accounts amounting to £12 6s 8.1 were passed for payment. The Board then adjourned.
