School Cemmittees.
SOUTH RAKAIA.
The usual monthly meeting of the Scuth Rakaia Sohool Committee waa held an Monday. Present^Messrs Hardy (Chairman), Dixon, Liddy, Riddle, Dowling and Oxley. Correspondence was received from the Board com Grining the appointment of Miss E. A, Thompson as pupil teacher. [ Mrs Ansley wrote re her appointment as mistress. It was resolved to support the nominations ot Messrs Adams, Peryman, and Meredith far SO.IU eri tho Board of B'duoatfbn. The master reported a satisfactory attendance at the school. Certain repairs required were left in the hands of Messrs Oxley and Hardy to attend to, and Messrs Hardy and Dixon wgre requested to look up certain children who were attending irregularly. A credit balance of £17 11s 9d waa reported, and after passing accounts for £7 17s Id, the meeting Adjourned.
