HAWAII.
Washington, February 5. I The Hawaiian Commission,headed by Mr L. A. Thurston, has reached Washington and had a satisfactory interview with Secretary Foster. Particulars are kept secret, but it is understood Mr Foster is officially sustaining the action of the American Minister, Steveus, who ordered the sailors ashore from the warship Gorton, (at Honolulu, and that he has sent an order to continue to recognise the ! provisional Government. He hopes ' the change in the administration will tighten the ties, arid the coupon.
I interests of the island will necessarily j link them to the United States. The ' Sec etary advises the Minister to keen in constant touuh with the United States admiral.
