Mr Kellaghan acted as starter, and Mr B. Slston (Ashburton) handioapper. A Lawn Tennis Match was played by Mr and Mrs E. Taylor, Mr B. Elston and Miss Doyle ; the two latter winning the match. A variety of other amusements were kept «ell moving, including the Tug of War between Buapuna and Mayfield, Buapdna being victorious.
