(B* THE EDITOB,) Onoe again the timo of blessing Dawns upon the favor'd Earth, Giving Heaven to man's possessing, Time that gave a Saviour birth. Time of angels' joy and wonder As the Btars together Bang, And — the heavens rent asunder — Loud the sweet Evangel rang. 11 Peace on Earth " of God's own sanding, " Unto all men God's goodwill," Night of sin and sorrow's ending, Surely this Bhall He fulfil. Not m vain the glorious message, Though the promise tarry long, God shall yet perform the presage Spoken m the Angels' song, Peaoeto all men hath extension, For who will possess it, may ; Peace that passeth comprehension, Peace that none may take away. Peaoe that triumphs o'er disaster, Peaoe from whioh all sorrows flee j Walking, like the blessed Master, Safe amid the stormy sea. : Unto us the promise given, : Let our fceans never cease, '.. . Joining m the hymn of Heaven, if Glory to the Prinoe of Peaoe." Thus from year to year ascending, Climbing heav'nward as we sing, To a Christmas never ending In the City of the King.
