THE DOMAIN LICENSING QUESTION

TO THE EDITOR. SIR, — In case such an " old woman's tale " as my harboring an antagonistic feeling towaids the Caledonian Society, should mislead others, as it apparently has fcclped to influence Mr Restell to do what he otherwise would not have done, I beg to s y that Ido not now, nor ever did, ha:bor any such feeling; but that any efforts of mine m connection with recent licensing matters were directed against the liquor'traffic, and not against an Association having for its object such an innocent and legitimate purpose as the preservation of the ancient games and customs of my own native country. Yours, etc., J. C. Duncan.
