DIVERSION OF TRADE, STRIKE OF GASMEN. £PXB FBKSB 4eSOCI4TION] Lohdon, December T. Owing to the recent strike of the London dockmen there has been a great diversion of trade from the London docks. The carmen bave decided to join the Labor Union, which has resolved to boycott all busmen who are not members. TJie Union has also decided to eventually seek to compel the police and soldiers to establish a Union. The coal porters express sympathy with the gas employees on strike, and intend to prevent coal being imported into London while the difference <eoaains unsettled. Both at Manchester andSalford the strike of gasmen has occasioned great annoyance. London, December 8 The Dockers Union protests against the tyranny of the Post Office in^forbidding carmen to join the Unioostnd has, therefore decided to boycott the non-Union men.
