The English wheat market' is steady. The Continental is inactive, and American unchanged.
New Zealand hemp is at £29 5s to £29 10b. .
The New Zealand Loan : and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, has received the following cable message from London, dated November Bth : —
Tallow— The market is depressed, and quotations have declined 6d per cwt. since last report. ' ■
Frozen Meat— •Mutton market is quiet. Wellington and Canterbury is worth 6d and s£d per lb respectively. The beef market is depressed, Hind | "quarters are worth 4^d per lb. ' ■'• Hemp — Good qualities are m demand , but there is less enquiry for common. ! Medium and good are worth £30 103 and £32 per ton respactively.
