The Docks and Warehouse proprietors announce that owing to the recent strike there will be an increase m the consolidated rate of wool of about 15 per cent. The delay m furnishing the balance sheet of the strike funds is oxoused on the ground that money has been required to relieve the families of men convicted of intimidation, but owing to the strictures m the **8t James' Gazette" on the confused state of the finances, the Committee promise that the accounts shall be published after November 4th. London. Ootober 24. The " Pall Mall ftazette" states that the families of strikers who were sentenced to terms of imprisonment for intimidating, are receiving from 10s to £1 per week. The balance m hand is slightly under £6000. Jewish operatives m Bast London are forming Unions for the purpose of obtaining shorter hours of labor; The strike at Bristol is spreading despite a partial concession by the i masters.
