CORN EXCHANGE.

SflThe following is the Corn Exchange Report for the week ending Friday October 18th. A decided firmer tone has been manifested during the past week. Wheat is certainly better thought of and values slightly enhanced, while oats although not advancing are firmly held for a probable rise and we should not be surprised m view of recent heavy shipments from Southern ports, at holders getting better prices shortly. Barley is mostly out o the market, no transaction worthy of any note having come before us. Potatoes are only quitted by holders at higher figures than were ruling m the previous week, but the season is too far advanced to anticipate any substantial increase Jon present rate. All other produce is without alteration. Our quotations for the week are as follows : — Wheat.— Pr'me Tuscan 3s 3d to 3s 4d ; Pearl 3s to 3s id|; Hunters 2s iod to 23 nd. Oats.— Milliag 2s 6d ; short feed 2s 3d to 28 4d. Barley.— Malting 3s 6d ; feed 2s, Grass Seed. -Kyegrass, town machine dress -d 4s 6d ; formers lines 3s to 3s 3d.
