WILLIAMS AND BLAND.
Messrs Williams and Bland report having held their weekly sa'e of horses on Saturday, the 1 2th October. Our entry consisted of 17 horses, of whi_h. we sold 14. There was a good attendance of farmers and-others, and we could not supply the demand. We qu<;te 6 year old dr.ught geldings, £25, £22 s* ; medium ditto, £it>, £14, £is, £16 15? ; aged ditto, £9 ios, j£io; ha.ks and light harness horses, £12, £6 ios, ss, £$ 7s 6d; crocks, £1 17s 6d ; horse, trap and harness, ; couble seated buggy, £zx. Produce.— Derwent p ta oes, 12s to 6s 6d; do seed, 6s to ios ; kidneys, 6s 6d per bag ; bran, 5s to 4s 6d ; pollard, 6s 6d to 8s ; chick wheat, 8s to 9; 6d per hag ; grass s:ed, 3s 4d per bushel; oats, 2s 2d to 2s 6d p«r bushel ; carrots, 2s to 3s ; wheat straw chaff, £2 per ton, bags ex'ra.
