Libel Action.

With regard to the libel action, Mynolt T Oorkill, the latter has been advised that m view of all the oiroumstanoes attending the publication of the apology signed Hooper, which appeared m the "Taranakl Herald," he is technically responsible for its publication, and Mr Samuel, his solicitor, has therefore this day paid into Court the Bum of forty shillings by way of damages m the aotion.
