Londozt, September 24 The fourth series of wool auctions opened to-day when Messrs C. Blame and Co. and Jacomb, Son and Co. offered 8000 bales, of a moderate assortment There was a large attendance of buyers and competition was exceedingly keen. The prices of the last series were generally fully maintained, and good merinos realised five pec cent above July rates. Crossbreds, are unchanged.
