And while, Dongal DalgettyUke, they were attaoklng the ''provender," tbe dame plied them with questions. And the one of the twain who was a sort of leader, replied that he had recently come to the colony, and wu looking about him feeing things, snd he liked the oolony araebly, and tbe ways of the people, and their milk and sooner, end hoped there wu good fishing about. And then the twain went their way. And tho third G.L.D. looked curiously at tbe dame and Mked her If ebe knew who her visitors were. Not she, indeed; bat they seemed Tery nioe and civil spoken. "Ah!" laughingly replied the other, "that's our new Governor and hb Aide-de-camp." "What, Governor 1" she almost screamed. '♦And 1 never put a cloth anon the table!"
