Mr A. G. Wi h proper appliances flax could be raised to the position of the largest industry m New Zealand. Mr McGregor suggests that millers should form an association for the purpose of developing the trade, and that the Government ihonld assist by retting an expert to conduct experiments as to the best system of dressing the fibra, and that the different makes of flax should be properly branded.
