THE KAIWARRA MURDER

(FROM OUR OWH CORBISPONDENT.J Wellington, August 24 The papers whioh came before the Executive Council when onnslde r !ng the osse of Lawia Ohemis, condemned to death for tbe murder of Thomas Hawkins, were l»ld on tbetible of the Hoosa at eleven o'olock kit night. Briefly the new points brought out are aa follows :— The Chief Juatlos states that In his opinion the verdict was jaatified by tbe evldenoe.
