Captain Somerville has reoeived word from the Government to the effect that 250 MartiniHenry rifles for the New Zealand Bifla Aesooiation meeting arrived by the Aorangi, and are now available at £3 Is eaoh ; also 11,000 rounds of ammunition. The balanoe of rifles and ammunition are ooming by Failing vessels. Applications mast be made through offioers commanding diatriots.
