Thin fnterprovlnolal matoh was played at Laaoßatet Park, Ohrlstoharoh, on Saturday. The attendance was good, albeit that the number of ladies present was laaa than would have bean the caae had the day been warmer. The crowd was one of the roost Impartial ever assembled on the Park. They cheered alike the good play of both team?, and the applause of tbe gaining by Garrard cf a try vtqb equalled by the cheers when Friday pottod a gaol from the field. The match throughout was a well contested one, and the result — a win for tho visitors by 3 points to I—waa1 — waa moat unexpected, the local men having been the favoiltea. The victory wbh brought about Vy r potted goal. Canterbury had much the beat of the game daring the greater part of eaoh spelt, and that they did not bco-o more than a point waa due to the good defence of Hawke's Bay. The home taam had many not shots, none of which were aa Baocessfal as that of Friday's.
