WILLIAMS AND BLAND.

Messrs Williams and Bland report having held their weekly sale. of horses on Saturday, July 27th. The entry consisted of 27 horses, of whioh 11 were sold. There was again a small demand for the sortß m. Any 4 or 5 years old draughts, good sorts, oould have been disposed of. Ab the farmers are all m fu'l swing getting m their orops, the attendance was not very lame. The entry principally oonsiated of broken and unbroken haoks. However, we managed to sell at the following prioea :— A 4 year old draught mare at £16 10a ; do do, £13 10s ; aged, do, £10, £7 10s, £4, £1 10; haoks, £11, £10 10s, £8, £510?, £3 2a6d. Implements. —Farm dray, £9 109. Produce.— Fowls' wheat, 8s 6d, 9a. Seed wheat, Tuscan, 3s 3d per bUßbel. Potatoes, Oamaru seed, £4 15a per ton; eating potatoes, 7s 6d to 11s per bag ; ryegrasa seed, Ss per bushel ; oookßfoot, 2d per lb ; oarrots, 2a to 2s 6d per bag ; oat ohafi, £1 10s to £2 per ton, baga extra *, bran, 5s 9d per bag ; sharps, 8s per bag ; oats, 3s per bushel. Poultry.— Turkeys, 13s to 14s per pairs geese, 5a per pair ; fowls, la 6d to 2a 6d pet pair. LAND SALES. Mesßrs Williams and Bland report the sale of 2 aores of land at Tinwald, next to Mr A; Curtis at £57 10s per aore, this being the biggest prioe given for land m this looality within the last sis years. Also two Beotioni m Trevorton at £4 10a eaob.
