Dunedin, Joly 29 The body of a man named Patrick McEld wny wab found m the harbor at he foot of S'uart street, near the Fisher--nan'B Oetty, about half-past 8 o'olock jcaterday morning. McEldowny wsb an elderly mm, a blacksmith by trade, and had bcea residing at Walporl for some years. On Saturday afternoon he left his hime, and was substqiently ee6nby hia wife slightly under tho i iflasnee of liquor. She seked him t) come home, and .he r-pUed he would. She proceeded on her way but perceiving that her husband was not following her, retnrnsd to look for him. She was unable to find him, and did not again sea him alive. The body was discovered by two b"ya.
