London, July 18 The weekly returns of the Bank of England, published to-day, show that the reserve m notes and bullion is £18,664,000, being a decrease of £100,000 as compared with last week. The proportion of revenue to liabilities is 38 per cent. Consols are quoted at 98£. The market is active. Australian wheat, ex store, 39a 6d, with the market firmer ; New Zealand long-berried, ex store, 88s 6d. (Reoelved July 21, 12 34 p.m.) j London, July 20. I Tallow— Medium mutton. 20s ; beef, 245. The English wheat market is lifeless ; the continental is firm, and the American has an upward tendency. New Zealand wheat on passage, average, is quoted at 355. Forward business shows an advance m values. Arrivals of foreign wheat are moderate.
