TO THE EDITOR. Sir, — Can you tell me what our old friend " Punch " has done that he should bH excluded from tbo Publio Library of this town. I observe that our City Fathers — bless their learned souls! —have reoent'y added a " Society " journal, nvsnamed " Truth," whch oould very well have been dispensed with, to the literary curiosities of the Reading room, but "Punch," whom everybody likes to road, has for several months past been conspic oue by h's absence. Why ia this thus? Aye the burdens of State so heavy th it the Mayor and Councillors oannot even afford the luxury of a laugh ? lam, etc, An Admirer of "PutfaH "
