Gore, Private Secretary to the Minister of Landi. The gaoler, Mr Garvey, was present daring the. lnterview. A copy of the tranaorlption has been forwarded to Mr Jelllooe, who Is now engaged In looking np evidence on behalf of the prisoner. Mr Jelllooe has written a warm letter to the Minister for Jastlee, protesting against the course adopted ia a Govern meat Bhorthand reporter being present at the Interview, and asking for a private Interview with tbe prisoner. Government have not taken the Ohemls oaae Into "or naideratlon as they are waiting for tbe Judge's formal report and tbe evidence whlah Mr Jelllooe is laid to be preparing.
