We have to report upon the Live Stook Market at Ashburton ou Tueoday, June 25th, an foUowß ;— The entry consisted of about 4833 sheep, 15 head of cattle, and 3 pige. There was not a very large gathering of buyers, and the sheep on the whole were not first oUbb quality ; though theie wave two or three pans of good lambs and a pen of good two tooth wethers. A good number oE the sheep were paeeed. We sold 54 fat crossbred wethers at 12s 9d ; 90 crossbred lambs, 7s 5d ; 300 orossbred lambs, 8a 8d ; 12 l&mbs, 4s ; 32 merino hoggets, 4s 6d Oattlo— Oows m full profit, £4 17b 6d ; store oows, £1 2a 6d, £1 s<, £2 7s, We also sold privately 310 two tooth orose. bred mixed flexes at 14s j and 24 head of store steors and heifers at £2 18s 9d On Friday we held our fortnightly Bale of Sheep Skins, the entry was not very ! large owiDg to the wet weather, We quote— Good orossbredß, 3s 4d, 3s 51, 3a 9d, to 4s Gd ; ditto meriaoe, 2d 6d to 3s 9d ; medium crossbreds, 2s lid to 3b 3d ; ditto merinos| 1b to 2a.
