I WILLIAMS AND BLAND. I I Messrs Williams aud tflaod report having held their weekly sale of horaea a on Satarday, 29ih Jaoe : — There was a very large atundauoe of farmers and x . others. The entry was a very largo one, \ ooublnting of 41 horaea, of whioh 23 were k aold at very satisfactory priaea. The bidding for anything like good ueefal aorta was spirited; The centre of attrao- r tlon for the day was two lota of five, belonging to Mr P. Mangan of Palmeroton . South, and the Railway Department. Mr Mangan's lot were veil competed for, and • the following are the prioea obtained :— A pair of brown mares, 6 years old, by '< Bob the R-inter," fetched £46 ; a very uloe chestnut filly, Nancy, 4 years old, by "Souter Johnnie" oat of a Hero mare, £36 103 ; a bay oolt, 4 years old, by Mrs ISiinmo a "Prlaoe Ohariey," £23 ; and a very nioe 3 year-old fitly, Darling 111 , by " What's Wanted," out of Darling XI, bred by Messrs Murray, Roberts and Co, of Gladbrook station showing grand quality of bone and hair, m fact one of the best offered for Borne time, did not oome'np to the owners' Idea of her value and was passed m at £29, bat was afiec wards sold privately at £34. The Government horaes were ail aged geldings, but r j al good sorts. A bay gelding, Panoh, £28 ; do do Naggel, £20 10* ; chestnut gelding B ;bby, £15. Ou aooount Messrs Mawacn Bros., a bay filly, 2 years old by " Pilnoe of the Isles," out of a Prlnoa Imperial mare, a first prize taker as a yearling m Oamara and lat pr Zd taker m ht.» olaas at laat Aahbnrton show, £18 10a. On aoooant Mr 0. Hill 3 good useful medium sons at £22, £18 10* and £16. On , account Mr W, O. Walker, 2 very nice Tribune's oolt and filly unbroken £9 10a and £8 respectively. Oa aooonnt of other vendorß. 5 year old mares £24 10a, £19 ; sged, £6 10); backs, £7 to £3 15a; scrubbers, £1 2s 63. We also sold privately on aooount Mir James S'ark, the bay filly, 4 yean old, left from last Saturday at vendor's reserve. Implement* — 18ft seed sower, £9 ; double farrow plough, £4 10« j 4-leaf harrow, £4 10s ; spring trap, £12. Harness — Spring oart harness £3, £2 si, oollar, bames and winkers £1, £1 7', £1 13s 6d; horse ooren, 16s to £J; aaddiet, £1 12s 6d, £3 15s. Produce— -Chick wheat 7s 9d to 9a per bag ; potatoes, 5 a 61 to 7a per bag ; oatrotr, 2a 6d per bag; bran, 5i 6d per ba^; sharps, 8s per bag; feed barley, 2a 7&d per bushel ; oat straw ch.ff, £2 per ton ; empty sacks, 6£3, 2J I.
