The Americans are purchasing freely. New Zealand mutton is Belling at 6£d per lb ; New Zealand lamb, B£d ; beef, hind quarters, 4d per lb ; fore quarters, B£d. The present stock on hand is 5000 caresses of mutton. The tallow market is flat. Best mutton 27s 6d to 28s, best beef 26s to j 26s 6d. ! Sydney, Jane 28.
