There was a large ftflaemblege of the members of the lodge «nd of the Somerset Lodge, E.G., and Thistle Lodge, 5.0., Aahburton, and visitors from Lodges Progress (Southbridge), Waltak! (o<km»rn), South R»kafa; Southern Orosa (K»Upoi), and Lojga of Peaoo (Bngland).' Brother Andrew Orr was Instilled m the Manter'a chair, the oeremony being performed In a perfeot and .mpreaatve m^uudr by P.M. Bro E, G Orisp, assisted by I. P.M. Bro H. M. Jones, and P.M. Bro H. W. Fulton, Somerset Lodge. The effioera Invested were S.W., Bro F. Bonnlngon; J.W., Bro GK Bißjet ; Treasurer, Bro A. Oartlo, P.M. ; HeoreUry, Bro W. H. Kneen : D<0 tt Bro T. M. Joneß ; S.D., Bro 0. Jephoou ; J.D., Bro T. E. Kilworth ; Organist, Bro H. A. Gates ; 1.G., Bro J. W. Hardiey ; Tyler, Bro R. Oulien. The musioitl p»rt of the ceremony w«a done rail justice to by a atroag choir, undar the leadeithip of Bro H. A. G*tev, JBro. i\ A. Gates, '•Progress " Lodge, offioUtlog as organist. At the lapper, whioh nr*s served m a pac tfoularly excellent style oy Bro J. Ranger, the usual L iyal and Masonlo toasti were honored, and tome oaplul Bongs were sung and reoltations given. Tne newly Installed muter reoeived the he»rty good wishes of all present, besidoa those of several absent brethren. Taa proodediugQ throughout were moat harmonious, aud displayed a truly Maaonio spirit extatlng between the different lodges.
