WRONGFUL IMPRISONMENT.
Lord G. Hamilton, First Lord of the Admiralty, has declined to recommend that compensation should be paid to Seaman Thompson, who was wrongly sentenced to three months' imprisonment for desertion, m mistake for Seaman Floyd, of H. M.S. Calliope.
