Try to do to others as you would have them do to you, and do not be dlsoouraged If they fall sometimes. It Is muoh better for yon that they should fail m obeying tbe greatest rule laid down by our Saviour than that you should. I pot a New Testament among your books, for the very same reasons and with the very name hopes that made me write an easy aooount of it when you •rare a little child — beoause it is tbe best book that ever was or will be known In the world, and beoause It teaohes yon the best lessous by whioh any human ejeatnre who tries to be truthful and faithful to duty oan possibly be guided."
