THE SMALLEST LIVING BABY.

Mr Oalllngworth, formerly largton to St Mary's Hospital, Manchester, has publioly stated that the smallest living baby he ever saw was one whioh weighed 2lband measured 141n m length. But, then, that was four weeks old. An Amerioan paper, the "Boston Journal," a year or two baok, mentiooed a child born slightly under this weight.
