There was a total eacry for the day of 5742 sheep, 54"o»ttie, and 2 p'RU, of wbloh I sold 3183 <heep and 27 bead cf oat tie, There wasj nnt a very large attendance, bat those who did oome were intent on baslnesi *nd the sale progressed quickly witb spnrtsd bidding, ana satisfaocory prices to sailers. Tba ebe;p entered bjth In the fat and store pens were mostly of good qaallty,a large pcopottton befog fit for toenips. X sold fat oros'.b •■"* ewes at 10s 101 to 13l 3d ; merino «o hers 10s 3d ; good eonditlou sheep, fit fop turnlpt 2 4 and 6tioth orostbred cmi and wethers lOi Bd, 10) 9i to 12j 6 i. ; crossbred ewes la lamb 8a to 11 1 8i j oroasbred lambs 6i 7<t to 9 1 ; merino ewes ia poor oondition 8i fc» 4i.
