RETIRED OFFICERS.
Avklaidx,. May 23. The Premier has received a lettet from Sir H. Atkinson, Premier of New Zealand, sympathising with the contention of the Government of South Australia, that retired Imperial officers who are employed by tjie colonies should not be punished by the forfeiture of their retired pay.
