CANADIAN MAIL SERVICE SUBSIDY BY THE IMPERIAL GOVERNMENT.
(PKB PRESS /SSOOIATION.) London, May 9. The British Government has agreed to contribute a subsidy of to Canada's towards the Atlantic service m connection with the through route to China and Australia. It is intended that the steamers on the lineto the latter shall have a minimum speed of fifteen knots. It has not yet been decided at what ports they shall call, but the terminus will be m Sydney.
