The result of the poll taken yesterday for the eleotlon of five members for the above Board Is as follows : —
Mr Makeig, the Returning Officer, declared the first five duly eleoted members of the Bj»rd. The result waa received with ohojra,
S.ma little oxoltement was exhibited In the township, and the result was the one generally oxpootod, viz.. the return of tho old Board with the exception of Mr Turner — Mr MoLqan t 'king his plaoe.
