SIR JULIUS YOGEL
♦ (Pkk Press Association.) Wellington. April 24. Private letters received by last mail from, Sir J. Yogel state that he has forwarded to I the Speaker of the House of Representatives his resignation as representative for Christohuroh North. Sir Julius will not return to the colony for a year, and then without any intention of returning to politios. Chbistchukch April 24 In a private letter written to a friend m Chrietohuroh received by the English mail this morning Sir J. Yogel states ha will resign his Beat for Obriatohuroh north, his state of health not permitting him to engage m the strain of politioe. He proposes to return to New Zealand, though not at present, m aeferenoe to the wishes of Lady Yogel and his family who desire that he should remain with them m England.
