Dunedin, April 24, The eduoation meetings again markedly demonstrated the operation of the cumulative vote* Aotive educationists oonneoted for years with the administration of the city schools found themselves at the bottom of the poll, while a large number of plumpers was the means of returning unknown, untried men. In one case a gentleman oonneoted with eduoation for over a quarter of a century barely scoured reflection. In another the ex-ohair-man of the distriot found himself out m the oold.
