AUCKLAND, April 21. Tho si earn or Mariposa arrived from Sydney at erven o'clock this evening. Lord and Lady Onslow were passengers by hor, and as there are do servants at Government Bouee, tney are staying at the Grand Boiel. Tbo Governor will he formally welcomed by the oltiEena of Auokland to-morrow. * He leaves for Wellington on Wednesday, and will probably go overland. Auckland-, April 22. The public reception of the Governor took place this morning, A great concourse of people assembled on the Qaeen street wharf, and addresses on behalf of the citizens of Auokland were presented by Mayor Devone. The Chief Paul, of Orakel, presented an address for the Maoris. One hundred of tbe Naval Artillery formed a guard of honor. Wellington, April 22. Arrived— Tekapo from Sydney. The family and servants of Lord Onslow are passengers.
