MR GLADSTONE ON HOME RULE. London, April 19. In the course of an interview with a newspaper correspondent, Mr Gladstone said that he declined to bind himself as to the number of Irish members he proposed to retain, or as to the manner of their retention, m the House of Common?, m the event of Home Rule being conceded to Ireland.
