Oats— .Best feed, 3s 2d to 8s 5d ; seed, 3s 3d to 3s 6d , down to 2s 9d for lower grades. Gape barley, 8s 4d ; English 4s 6d. New Zealand potatoes, £4 to £4 5s ; Circular Bean's, £4 10s. Onions, New Zealnnd, £14. Butter — Imported, 8d to 12d ; local, Is 3d to Is 6d, Cheese, 7d to B^d. Bacon — Local , 8d ; im- i ported , 9^d. I Melbourne, April 17. j Fpeculators m wheat are trying to 1 obtain contracts for further parcels. A | limited millers' business only is doing, j and .auctions are lifeless. Prices are steady, and have undergone no change. Oats— New Zealand heavy, 4s Id, stout 3s lOd to 3s' 10^d. Barley— Malt : ing 5s lOd, Cape 3s 4d. Peas 4s 3d. Adelaide, April 17. Wheat— Shipping parcels, 4s at Port Adelaide, Farmers' lots, 4s $d to 4s lOd j at outports, 4s 7d to 4s. Bd. New Zealand oats, 4s ; barley, malting, 4s 3d, dull. London, April 17. Biddings at the wool sales continue brisk, and prices remain firm.
