THE BIRMINGHAM ELECTION.
The election for the seat m the House of Commons, rendered vacant by the death of Mr John Bright, took place to-day and resulted m the return of Mr Albert John Bright by a majority of 3060 over his opponent, Mr Beal (a separatist). The voting was as follows: —Bright, 5621; Beal, 2561. The election passed off quietly.
