London. April 16. Tenders for the Tasmanian loan of one million, bearing interest at 3^ per cent, were opened to-day. The total amount offered was There were 160 tenders. Tenderers at £<X 18s 6d will be allotted 25 per cent of the loan. A syndicate tendered j£Sso,ooo 18s 66.
