Good orossbred ewes were all disposed oi at prices ranging from 6a 6ito 7s 83, A moderate line of crossbred lambs fetob.ee 4a 9d ; merino wethers rather forward lc condition realised 3n Id ; medium qaalltj merino ewes, 2s Id. Store Cattle. —This was the dullesl section of the sale, and several good linei of young oattle had to be withdrawn, the only lots sold sold being those without reserve, mostly comprising odd lots. Fat Oatti<e — There was a moderate supply of beef. The demand was noi Bofflafeot to warrant an advance In price being given. Best steers fetched up tc £6 10s, equal to about 15s 6d per 100 bs heifer beef sold at 12s 6d to 14s per 1001b* Fat Lambs— There was not no large an entry of lambs as recently. Best qaalltj realised up to 8s lOd ; Inferior sorte ranged from 4s 61 to 7a, Fat Phbbp.— There was a large entry In the mutton department, and some rare good sorts of Down mutton were submitted, Expectation of rain bas caused a deoided Itnpr ivement In various lines aad good frees irs re'leed tully up to former quotations, namely If per lb Ewe or ioferloi quality mutton «ras dull of sale, PiG3 — The entry of pigs was only small In comparison with rooent sales, but some good quality rf porkers were sold.
