The entry of stook wan above tbe average, and the sale was fairly brisk. Stobe Sheep. — The pens were well filled, but the quality was very mixed. Good orossbred ewes were all disposed oi at prices ranging from 6a 6ito 7s 83, A moderate line of crossbred lambs fetob.ee 4a 9d ; merino wethers rather forward lc condition realised 3n Id ; medium qaalltj merino ewes, 2s Id. Store Cattle. —This was the dullesl section of the sale, and several good linei of young oattle had to be withdrawn, the only lots sold sold being those without reserve, mostly comprising odd lots. Fat Oatti<e — There was a moderate supply of beef. The demand was noi Bofflafeot to warrant an advance In price being given. Best steers fetched up tc £6 10s, equal to about 15s 6d per 100 bs heifer beef sold at 12s 6d to 14s per 1001b* Fat Lambs— There was not no large an entry of lambs as recently.
