[Per Press Assooi_-ios.l Loudon, Maroh 2. The Liberal Club intend to give a banquet to Mr Parnell m celebration of his victory. The American Press generally agree that the " Times'" apology is shamefully inadequate. Houston has tendered a written statement to the Commission, but the contents are not known, as the reading of the document was postponed. Maroh 3. The Radicals are urging that the Government should be vigorously attacked by motion of censure for the attitude tbey have assumed m the " Times "-Parnell inquiry. A post mortem examination is being made of Pigott's remains, after which they will be buried at Madrid. A letter was found m his pocket addressed to Labouchere, m which he confirmed his confession, and regretted that he had injured Parnell and others. He further added that he **M desirous of making reparation, and tint his children were destitute. Maroh 4. It is stated that when Pigott went to the hotel m Madrid the interpreter who accompanied him c. ught sight of the signature of a telegram from Pigott to Mr Shannon, solicitor for the " Times," requesting the latter to forward money. The interpreter thereupon informed the police. When the warrant for his arrest was read, Pigott said "All right," and immediately shot himself, dying instantly. A letter was found on Pigott, addressed to Mr Labouchere, stating that all the first batch of letters were genuine, and that the second lot included several forged ones. He also I stated that he would conform to Mr Labouchere's instructions. /
