The " Daily News " states that four German frigates, now at Genoa, have been ordered to proceed to Samoa without delay. Prince Bismarck has privately complained that the Samoan difficulty is a personal trouble m which the colonies are involved. Baron de Worms, m reply to a question m the House of Commons, stated that is quite necessary that the Australian Colonies should be specially represented m the Samoan Conference, to be held m Berlin. The British envoy, would, he said take the necessary steps to insure Imperial interests being thoroughly protected. Bkblin, February 23. In referring to the German Colonies, he said they were burdensome; and it was impossible to permit trifles to embroil Great Powers.
