Invbroargili,, February 22 The movement m favor of a Masonio Grand Lodge for New Zaahnd, nnitlng the three constitutions, has extented to Southland. A meeting of Past Masters held last night was largely attended, when it was deolded to hold a meeting of all Masons a fortnight henoe, with a view to the foundation of a looal branoh of the Masonic Union, proposed to be started as a preliminary to effeotlng the union of all the lodgts In tha oolony under one j misdlotlon. It la understood that the Southland Masons are all bub unanimously m favor of union. There are seven lodges In Southland proper, and two more In the Lakes dletriot, making nine m all.
