Auckland, February 20. The Premier wben here agreed to purchase, on behalf of the Government, the collection of Mr ftolsohek, the naturalist. It consists of seven groups of New Zealand birds In glass oases, a series of singlemonnted birds' skins, skeletons, eggs, corals, Maori carvings and mats. Probably the greater part of the collection will be taken to Wellington.
