At the enquiry before the " Times "- Parnell Commission, Mr Soames pro deced a number of letters obtained from clerks of the League, also seven letters signed by Mr Parnell. The body of the last-mentioned letters is supposed to hare been written by Campbell. Eight of the letters were written by Egan. He (Mr Soames) said that he had obtained from Mr Piggott a letter written by Byrne, stating that he had received £100 from Mr Parnell. The " Times " paid £0000 for the letters. A number of forgeries received from America were nnused. Mr Flanagan, son of an Irish Judge, who is on the staff of the " Times," was the writer of " Parnellism and Crime." It is reported that Mr Parneli's state of health is critical.
