The Anniversary eervloes In connection With the above sohool were ponduoted by Mr Broaghtoo, of St Alb»m, Obrlstchurob, on Snoday last. The services were afternoon and evening, the former being eipeoially fot young people. The o 'Ogregations were large, and the services hearty and profitable. Last evening, a tea meeting was held m the hall. The butldlogwas orowded, nearly 300 being present. The 1 idles m couoeotlon with the congregation supplied the tables and were busily employed for some time In dispensing the abundant provisions. At the afternoon meeting addresses were delivered by Rev JR. F. Garbett (BpUeopa U«n), who paid a tribute to the character and work of Wesley. Rev J. Bootbroyd ftnd Mr J. Allison also addressed the Company. A large number of prlz >a and reward books were distributed by Mr Broughton to the scholars. Daring the evening, Mr Jos. Smith (aetlng Superintendent), read a report of the sohool work. Two yean ago the sohool was commenced with 18 sohohrs, whlob number had Increased until there were now 48 on the roll with a high average attendance. There were six teachers. The library was largely patronised and the finances satis* factory. On behalf of the teachers, Mr Smith presented Mr John Oaygill (former Superintendent), with a oioelp bound Bible as an expression of esteem and appreciation. && Oaygill acknowledged the gift m suitable terms. A most •occeufol meeting was brought to a close by singing the Doxology, the Rev J, N. Battle (chairman), pronouncing the benedlotlon.
