Molloy, one of the Invincibles who was ar-resfced m Dublin m September last, on a warrant issued by the Special Commission, and gave evidence that he was associated with some persons forming that seoret body has been arrested on a charge of perjury. Molloy is the man Who, m his evidence, admitted tb^at the information : given; 'to > the " Times" agent had misled him. .
Mr D. Sheehy, M.P. for Qalway South, who was sentenced to six months' imprisonment for inciting persons to refuse to pay rent, and who appealed against the sentence, has had an additional; four months added to the term. *.
Mr W, O'Brien, who refused to wear prison clothes after his own apparel was stripped from him, lay naked for several hours m his cell. He is now reported to be m a critical condition. : ;
Before the Special Commission today, the solicitors who were engaged m defending prisoners for various outrages committed m Ireland deposed that the iLand League had defrayed the cost of the defence of those charged with the murder of Lord Mountmorres and others. Several constables were also examined, and swore tc the seizure of arms and documents m the possession of John' Walsh, of Middleborough, organiser of the Invincible conspiracy m Ireland, and Tobin, organiser pf, the Laud League. The evidence also tended to show that the Fenians organised men m the North of : England* and secured both arms and ammunition m that part of the Kingdom, Daring the examination a severe passage at arms occurred between Sir James Hannen, President of the Commission, and Sir Charles Russel, counsel for the Parnellite party, as to evidence being admitted.
Rev. Mr Morrimin, priest at Ballyoolyy county Limerick, has been sentenced to five weeks' imprisonment for offences against the Crimes Act.
